Happy Easter Baby Syd!

Sydney enjoyed the Easter egg hunt at my mom's house on Saturday. I thought the metallic plastic Easter eggs were hideous, but it was a good thing that my mom bought them because this orange one was Sydney's favorite. She carried it around for quite awhile after she found it (with substantial help from her mommy of course!).
Yes, I realize that Sydney is only 4 months old and she doesn't really need an Easter basket, but she did seem to like it! It only had a fluffy pink bunny and a Peter Rabbit board book in it, so I didn't go overboard!
Here is Sydney in her Easter dress. She wasn't cooperating too well with getting her picture taken. This is probably the best one taken. Even though she isn't smiling, she still looks pretty cute!

Sydney's New Hobbies

Sydney has been swimming in Grandma D.'s pool twice now. She loves it! She and her cousin Tyler are really good friends. Sydney thinks he is hilarious and whenever Tyler sees me he says "Where's that baby?"

At Sydney's 4 month checkup her doctor said she was ready to try solid food. She's been enjoying rice cereal for about a week now. As you can see, she thinks she is ready to feed herself already. (She was getting a little frustrated because there was no food left on the spoon.)
