Look at My Tiny, Tiny Baby

This is what happened when I got out Sydney's baby swing for Alivia, the 6-month old I am watching 2 days a week. I knew it was going to happen, but I got out the swing anyway.

Here's Alivia having her turn after I bribed Sydney with candy to get out of the swing. Too bad I didn't really have any candy. I just gave her two gummy calcium bears.

Pretty Toes

Sydney is obsessed with nail polish. We passed by a cosmetics display at CVS a few weeks ago and she immediately pulled some polish off the shelf, sat down and tried to paint her toenails. If she sees me painting my toes, she must have hers done too. (She never asks for it on her fingernails though...) Also, she always notices if I put a new color on my toes and she tells me they are pretty.

Isn't it random that on the same day my friend April posted this tag, my cousin Kelly did too????

GRRRRR!!!

Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night to find your power has been turned off by a neighbor's disgruntled ex-boyfriend? I have - last night. Yeah, apparently he was trying to turn off our neighbor's power, but apparently he couldn't read the clearly labeled addresses on the circuit breakers. Oh yeah, and it needs a ladder/step stool to be turned off/on. (Or in my case a helpful policeman's extendable night stick!)

Fun times, fun times.

Splash Park

Sydney and I met our friends for a picnic and fun at the Splash Park on Thursday. It was so much fun to visit and play!

Sydney's Hair

I think it is quite funny that Sydney sat still enough for me to do this to her hair, but she wouldn't sit still for 5 seconds so I could take a picture of it.

Next time I will try to make her hair sections more even and symmetrical - this was just practice!
