Sydney at 7 1/2 Months

Sydney is growing up way too fast. (I know I say that all the time............) At 7 1/2 months old, she is crawling mostly with her stomach on the floor, but she does get up on her knees sometimes. She just recently learned to pull herself up to a standing position. Also, her first tooth is finally coming through. She waves to people and claps all the time. She loves to smile at strangers and is an angel while sitting on the plane on the runway for 3 1/2 hours in 90 degree heat. (Long story....) She loves to go to the park and swing!

Beach Adventure

Sydney can now join the ranks of those who say they have been to the Atlantic ocean. She had a wonderful time playing in the sand. She even enjoyed snacking on it a bit! We dipped her little crossed legs into the ocean and she loved it!

Cousin Alexa

Currently we are on vacation in New Jersey visiting Jimmy's brother, Michael, his wife, Rhonda and their daughter, Alexa. Sydney loves her cousin Alexa. She smiles whenever she sees her!

Bath Time

Tyler was over at our house one morning and he found one of Sydney's bath toys on the stairs. (Don't ask me how it got there....) When you wind it up, the little turtle's fins move and he swims. Well, Tyler wanted to see how it worked, so we filled up the bathtub and put it in. While watching the turtle, Sydney got super excited and started flailing her arms. She kept reaching for the water in the tub. After a few minutes of this, I undressed her and plopped her in. I asked Tyler if he wanted to go in and he said no. That didn't last long.... before long Tyler and Sydney were both in the tub and splashing around.
