Sydney absolutely loved the 4th of July parade. (Maybe it was all the loot she got: balloon, flag, stickers, squirt gun, toothbrush, pen, pencil, cookies, cracker jacks and tons and tons of candy!)
Then we hung out at my mom and dad's for awhile
and acted a little silly:
and played with Charlie, Maddie's new kitten:
Amy gave a "4th of July Devotional"
(and then we watched Independence Day, a staple for a truly patriotic day).Then we swam and had a BBQ at Grandma D.'s:
And finally, here is Sydney in her prism glasses to watch the fireworks. Oh yeah, she got prism glasses at the parade too!
